Microsoft Store companion: 0.3.3.0. Manual release: 0.4.0. Availability and signing.

A developer workspace for your browser agent.
- Project access profiles: exact origins, read-only or read/write access and domain exclusions.
- Reviewable bug reports: opt-in console errors and failed request metadata, notes and optional screenshot. Preview the exact report before exporting.
- Native WebMCP scenarios: review schemas and inputs, approve a run, check assertions and compare results.
- Incremental context: get page changes after a baseline, with full-read fallback when required.
- Connection checklist: diagnose extension, page and companion state without making a model request.
This release also tightens sensitive-field redaction, Pause handling, embedded-frame authorization, publication receipts, read-only monitoring and Windows file/install boundaries. Site event handlers remain outside the form-check sandbox; use mutation access only on trusted pages.
The matching manual Windows companion and extension are 0.4.0. Microsoft Store and Edge Add-ons delivery follow separate approval schedules. Do not install the manual companion over the Store edition.

ToolBraid extension 0.3.2 for Chrome and Edge adds optional automatic connection across eligible HTTP(S) sites. Enable it only when you want broader access.
- Off by default: enable AI control, switch on automatic connection and approve browser site access.
- Your exclusions: block domains and subdomains in both automatic and manual mode.
- Persistent settings: existing and new tabs connect, including after browser restart.
- Control stays separate: pause blocks new commands everywhere; action approval settings are unchanged.
Windows companion packages remain unchanged. Edge Add-ons delivery follows its separate review process.
Manual release ·
ToolBraid Companion 0.3.1.
The manual companion and extension leave release candidate, with matching Windows, browser-extension and source downloads.
- Native WebMCP fix: unchanged tools now execute correctly when the browser reorders their JSON fields. Changed schemas and stale page bindings are still rejected.
- Clean Windows verification: installation, upgrade from the published RC, removal and packaged browser-to-MCP flows passed in Edge and Chrome.
- Separate distributions: the manual launcher remains unsigned. Microsoft Store companion 0.3.3.0 and store submissions are unchanged.
Validation and coverage
Source suite: 592 passed, 7 opt-in checks skipped, no failures. Dedicated integration jobs also verify opt-in, reads, form submission, browser restart and pause enforcement. Native WebMCP runs with the experimental browser flag enabled.
Browser tests use isolated profiles and controlled pages, with fixture permissions pregranted. X requests are intercepted; cloud-account chat and Store-delivered upgrades are outside this CI coverage. Reproducible checks · Requirements and limits.

Now on Microsoft Store.
ToolBraid Companion is available free on Microsoft Store for Windows 11 x64. The Store distributes a Microsoft-signed companion with its runtime included.
- Store companion 0.3.3.0: install it, choose Connect browsers, then add the 0.3.1 browser extension separately.
- Manual installation remains available: Store availability does not sign the independent ZIP or grant Edge Add-ons approval.
- Edition differences: the companion-side fixes in the 19 September manual refresh are not yet included in Store 0.3.3.0. The Store companion is a separate distribution from the manual release above.

More reliable uploads and replies.
Fixed
- Windows file picker: the companion can complete standard file selection with exact control checks.
- Media uploads: verification handles pages that clear or remove the upload field, without duplicate selection events. Uncertain uploads are reported clearly so the agent can check before retrying.
- X replies: playing-video countdowns no longer interrupt an otherwise unchanged reply action. Content and recipient changes still invalidate stale actions.
New resource
Token-efficiency video: watch the 15-second comparison of returned context for the same seven public posts: 821 tokens with ToolBraid, 5,094 for a full DOM snapshot and 661 for custom extraction. This is one sample, not total agent usage. Method and limitations.
Validation and coverage
Automated suite: 587 passed, 5 opt-in checks skipped, no failures. The 51 targeted browser/upload and Windows checks overlap with that suite.
Live Edge coverage includes reply drafting and a video attachment confirmed ready, without publication. Coverage is not exhaustive across sites or X operations. Detailed release notes.

- Listed MCP tools and cached reads survive content-only updates while retaining page/session binding.
- Root scrolling handles dynamic content on the same page. Mutations and nested scroll targets retain strict checks.

Connection and browser fixes
The Windows, manual-install extension and Edge submission ZIPs have been refreshed. The version and release tag are unchanged.
- MCP reconnection: reloads the validated configuration on reconnect. Concurrent requests share one connection; interrupted actions are not automatically replayed.
- Advanced tools: the required debugger permission is declared at installation. The panel shows its real state, without the invalid extra permission button. Basic page tools do not attach the debugger.
- X workflows: fixes for scrolling, exact reply targeting, composer recovery, media controls and article drafts.
